Florida's State Legislature Picks Bush
The Florida state legislature takes it upon itself to pick the party of Florida's 25 electors. Voting strictly along party lines, the Republicans control the decision, and the legislature sides with George W. Bush.
Since the legislature manages to make this decision before the national December 12 deadline, the electors are ready in time for their big day.
