Florida's State Legislature Picks Gore
The Florida state legislature takes it upon itself to pick the party of Florida's 25 electors. Wanting to resolve the issue once and for all, the legislature sides with Gore, the probable winner of the national popular vote.
Since the legislature manages to make this decision before the national December 12 deadline, the electors are ready in time for their big day.
